Today you all get a special bonus post. This short video is my final project for my Environmental Literature class. The title is "Shared Spaces." Part of the assignment is to distribute the video to 25 people. I tried to throw it up on YouTube but it got rejected because it was over 10 minutes long. I thought this website might be a good alternative. It's also on my Facebook page if you want to watch it there (viewing window is much larger). I know it's a little out there, but I hope you still enjoy it. I look forward to hearing your comments.

Well, if you just post it and hope that people will see it, then that's probably not going to work. You need to take more intiative than that.
Think about it this way, you make a product, but dont tell people about it. You set it on the shelf and hope that people will see it and be interested. You should probably send out notes/emails to people who would be interested and see if you get a response that way. You need to essentially "market" it.
People you are close to, (ie: family, girlfriends, very close friends), will be able to help you better than anyone else. And you'll get feedback from them.
I dont mean to step on your toes here, but it doesn't seem that your going to get the response you need if you just post it, just like you said about youtube. Let people know where it is.

Interesting. Given the title, I liked the pictures I could relate to- the bus stop, the music building, the edge of the trax walkway, the ordinary scenes I also see every day. Even the pictures of the downtown library (which I don't spend a whole lot of time in) were appropriate- it's an expression of spaces you share with others. THAT is environmental literature. Not what I was expecting, but cool nonetheless. I suppose people like what they recognize and what they have in common with others.
I did not relish the beginning, although I cannot say I was surprised. It was very "Jake"- start with something a little shocking or unconventional to get the audience's attention. To be honest, I didn't watch the entire beginning.
I wished the slides went by a little faster, and I'm vouching that my collegues would concur (shared fourth dimension spaces!) But overall, good job.
